Through stories, reflection, and connection to land, participants consider how colonization and their own lived experiences shape relationships, teaching practices, and responsibilities to children, families, and community. Guided by Indigenous perspectives, the module examines how everyday actions, language, environment, routines, and relationships nurture a child’s sense of belonging and cultural strength. Â
The focus is on creating learning spaces where Indigenous children see their Nations, identities, and community reflected, honoured, and upliftedÂ
